Mimecast Personal Portal
This is a walkthrough of Mimecast emails and the personal portal.
Mimecast is the email filter that catches and blocks most malicious emails and spam.
Occasionally a legitimate email will get caught up. Here's how you can preview, permit, and block emails.
When an email is held in Mimecast, you will get an email from Domain postmaster, postmaster@purepowercontractors.com.
These emails will inform you that you have held emails. You can click the Personal Portal to preview and manage them in your web browser.
Emails held in Mimecast are there for only 2 weeks (14 calendar days, not business days)
They are automatically deleted and non-recoverable after 14 days.
You'll see the sign in page either from the Personal Portal link in the email or from the MIMECAST link found on purepower.site
No password should be required, only your ppc email. If a password is needed, it's the same as your email password.
Then click the Mimecast Personal Portal Icon.
Here, you can safely preview any held emails.
Blocked or rejected emails cannot be previewed by the user or administrator.
We can only see that an email was sent and blocked, not what's in it.
You can report it as spam or phishing.
You can reject or permit the email, the sender, or the whole @domain.
